In a public press release from February 17th, 2021, Quō Automotive announced it would continue to be the owner of Hyperion, however, MadeInNorthCarolina would be removed from his position as CEO. However, tensions soon began to grow between Quō's board members and Hyperion's CEO due to concerns about MadeInNorthCarolina's leadership skills and unprofessional behavior. Edai was not included in the acquisition and would become an independent company. In the deal, it was agreed that Quō would assume full control over the Hyperion brand, but MadeInNorthCarolina would still maintain his position as CEO & owner. On January 20th of 2021, Hyperion was acquired by Quō Automotive through a deal made by MadeInNorthCarolina and Quō board members. The Edai Race Team was introduced under the new ownership, as well. This included the third generation Hyperion Acheron, the Edai Supermini Cross, and the 2021 Edai Acer.

Under the new ownership, several older vehicles which had not yet been released were made public. In late 2020, 0toko gave ownership of Hyperion and its subsidiary, Edai, to MadeInNorthCarolina. Their releases have been well received and popular on the ROBLOX market as many have surpassed hundreds of sales/takes. Hyperion also went by aliases including H.P., or HP Automobiles after its establishment until 2015.īetween 2015 to 2017, the company went through a phase where the name was changed from Hyperion to Helios and the logo was redeveloped.įrom 2018 and onwards, the brand focuses on producing economy vehicles with multiple trims for various buyer preferences. Hyperion's subsidiary, Edai, was founded at a later date and focused on producing mainly compact and kei vehicles. The company was founded by 0toko with the first model released under the self-titled Hyperion on October 12th, 2011.

Hyperion omnibus
